Throughout the week of May 10, 2021, personnel from CAL FIRE/San Luis
Obispo County Fire Department will be conducting a series of live fire training scenarios. This training is held in cooperation with the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District and the private landowner. The live structure fire training scenarios will take place within an unoccupied and privately owned residence located on Peachy Canyon Rd, west of the City of Paso Robles.
Utilizing live fire in a controlled environment, firefighters will train on techniques and
procedures for aggressively combating residential structure fires while first providing for the safety and well-being of the possible occupants. Providing for the health and safety of the surrounding community and the firefighters is of paramount importance while conducting training such as this.
