Meridian Station 52
Station 52 is located in the heart of the Paso Robles wine country, Meridian Station 52 is was built by the County of San Luis Obispo to meet the rising demand for service in the rural Paso Robles area. Meridian Station 52 operates an ICS Type-I fire apparatus staffed with two Company Officers.
Due to the large number of wineries, Station 52 personnel are responsible for staffing and responding to Hazardous Material involved incidents, continued training of Hazmat Team members from all cooperating agencies of the county, and maintaining multi-gas detectors for the entire County Fire Department. Station 52 is home to Haz-Mat 1.
