Creston Fire Station 43 is located in east of the City of Atascadero, in the town of Creston. Station 43 is owned by the County of San Luis Obispo, and operates an ICS Type-I engine with a Fire Captain and a Fire Apparatus Engineer. Station 43 operates a 15 member Paid-Call Firefighter program. Company 43 members are responsible for operating equipment when permanent personnel are off-duty. Station 43 is home to Engine 243, a reserve apparatus.
